Today, Denton County issued a STAY AT HOME Order for all Denton County residents except for those who perform essential activities.  This Order is in effect for 7 days through March 31, 2020 and may be extended.

The Order defines "essential activities" and "essential businesses".

What does this mean?

It means if you must leave your home, you are allowed to go the doctor's and the grocery stores.  You may also go for a walk or exercise in your neighborhood, such as jogging or riding your bike, but you must remain at least 6 feet from others.

Denton County is following the lead of Dallas County and Collin County.  Police have been out and about in Frisco and the surrounding areas to monitor, so please take heed.
